As I previously mentioned in a Council Email and in the School Newsletter, the Community Facility Enhancement Program provided the Association with a grant that covered half the costs of our playground repair.
I wanted to use this forum to thank them once again for their involvement. With their participation the playground at Haultain is no longer in danger of being shut down. A safe environment has been maintained in which our kids and future generations of kids will continue to play.
As an added bonus, the repair used recycled rubber from tires so we were able to help out a little environmentally as well.
